Following Paris Saint-Germain’s 6-1 victory over Clermont last night, Brazilian forward Neymar spoke about the link up between him and his fellow star attackers, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi, having scored a hat-trick himself for the first time since September 2020.
“First of all I’m very happy to have won tonight,” said the 30-year-old. “I’m also happy to have scored three goals. We’re getting better and better. All three of us are at 100% but only at the end of the season. It’s a shame for us but we’re going to go and get what’s left for us in the league.”
This mirrors Kylian Mbappé’s thoughts, which expressed the disappointment with the amount of time required for the front three to really gel.
