On Thursday afternoon, Joliet Park District Executive Director Brad Staab confirmed for Joliet Patch that Cemeno’s is finalizing a lease agreement with the park district to take over the vacated restaurant and bar space formerly used by The Dock at Inwood.

The Dock was at Inwood for five years, and its lease for 3000 West Jefferson Street ended on New Year’s Day. Staab said that the park district remains in negotiations with Cemeno’s, and therefore he does not have a target date yet for any grand opening.
