Serial BevMo Robbery Suspects Arrested In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach Police Thursday arrested four out of five suspects believed to have committed multiple robberies at a BevMo in the city.

During the month of February, the store located in the 1700 block of Rosecrans Avenue was burglarized three separate times. Each time, the suspects smashed the front window and fled with bottles of alcohol in their arms.

Early Thursday morning, the burglary alarm at BevMo was set off once again and Manhattan Beach Police Department patrol officers responded to the scene. Officers were able to catch a vehicle leaving the location and initiated a pursuit, authorities said.

The pursuit ended in the city of Inglewood when five suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to run from the police, MBPD said. Four of the suspects were apprehended while one eluded capture, according to authorities.

Police recovered alcohol believed to be from the BevMo burglary inside the suspects’ vehicle.
