L’Équipe report that Rennes and Dijon have found a €16m agreement in principle for the transfer of the latter’s 27-year-old Senegalese shot-stopper, Alfred Gomis.
Some final details still need sorting out, but the deal is now imminent, with DFCO making a €15m profit on a player that they signed just 12 months ago from SPAL.
Gomis, 27, will replace Édouard Mendy, who has joined Chelsea, and play Champions’ League football.
