France Football report that Premier League side West Ham United will almost certainly not be signing FC Nantes captain Abdoulaye Touré this month, despite contact earlier on this month.
The arrival of 24-year-old midfielder Tomáš Souček to the Hammers today has brought an end to their interest in 25-year-old Touré, who, under the guidance of Willie McKay, West Ham had been willing to sign on loan with an option to buy.
This did not suit Nantes, who wanted a permanent and guaranteed sum, for a player currently under contract until 2022.

McKay continues to attempt to manoeuvre a deal with other English clubs before Friday’s deadline.
