Angel di Maria, Lucas Moura, Julian Draxler and Javier Pastore. What do these gentlemen all have in common? They have been approached by PSG to be the player in exchange as Monaco stick to their price worth €140m (plus €15m in bonuses) plus a PSG footballer for Kylian Mbappé.
The situation is blocked, and it seems very unclear as to how Les Parisiens will proceed to get this deal done, unless they can convince AS Monaco to lower their demands. If PSG do not use a player in exchange, AS Monaco want €180m. PSG fear at this point that if they do not manage to offload the player’s they want to before the window shuts: Grzegorz Krychowiak, Hatem Ben Arfa, and to an extent Lucas Moura, then they will not be able to do this deal.
PSG representatives, supremely confident in the middle of this week, are now a little quieter today.
AS Monaco have given their agreement in principle to sell Kylian Mbappé to PSG, but what if this entire situation was a ruse from the Principality side to paralyse Les Parisiens in the market? Doubtful, but PSG representatives are sweating this morning.
