Antoine Rabillard has had his contract terminated by Marseille. The Frenchman had one year left on his deal but left as he didn’t fit into Rudi Garcia’s plans at the Stade Vélodrome. The 21-year-old was reduced to limited first team action last season, appearing just twice off the bench in Ligue 1.
The striker seemed grateful for the opportunity to wear the jersey of Marseille, saying on his Instagram page, “It’s official now, the adventure with Olympique de Marseille stops here for me. 4 years of my life in the most prestigious club in France. An experience that has made me grow both sportively and humanly. Thank you to all the people who supported me and allowed me to realise my dream.”
