France Football report that Ligue 1 side OGC Nice are in talks with Premier League club Watford over the possible signing of 22-year-old Venezuelan forward Adalberto Peñaranda.
The Hornets want €20m in order to sell the player, who has not played for them, owing in part to work permit troubles, that ensured he was only cleared to play in England at the end of 2018.
Nice are currently trying to negotiate a loan deal, but will have to move quickly, as the outlet claims that in the coming days the player could be offered to other Ligue 1 clubs of a higher standing.
