Cameroonian international Clinton N’Jie sat down with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino yesterday to establish his chances of playing time for the forthcoming season.
Paul Mitchell was also present at the meeting and both individuals are thought to have been frank with the former Lyon forward: competition for places is going to be even greater at Tottenham this season than it was last season, according to L’Équipe.
The player is happy with the finances that he is currently receiving and has made the decision to stay in an attempt to earn a place at Tottenham.
Marseille have not given up on this particular target, the belief being that OM can chance N’Jie’s mind.
