Brazil’s Dani Alves is being investigated over an allegation of sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub in Spain back in December last month, according to Catalonia’s Supreme Court, as per Reuters.
Alves has denied he did anything wrong.

The Barcelona court said proceedings were opened “for an alleged crime of sexual assault as a result of the complaint filed by a woman for events that allegedly occurred in a nightclub in Barcelona last month.”
The statement did not specify it was Alves but a court spokeswoman confirmed it while speaking to Reuters that the complaint was against Alves.

She added that the case was being investigated but there was no further information.
