Jack Debreczeni signs with Brumbies

The Brumbies have bolstered their playmaking depths, signing former Rebels and Chiefs flyhalf Jack Debreczeni.Debreczeni made his debut for the Rebels in 2014, playing 54 games before making the move over to Japan with Honda Heat. The 29-year-old returns on an one year deal after stints in Japan and New Zealand, recently featuring in the Shute Shield for West Harbour.“It’s great to be back in Super Rugby and to be joining an awesome club like the Brumbies," Debreczeni said in a statement.“Working with Steve is obviously an amazing opportunity and I’m looking forward to seeing how I can learn from and contribute to the team with guys like Noah, Nic White there as well.“The group there have been playing some great rugby and it’s a place that is known for getting the best out of guys so I’m excited to get started. “Debreczeni adds much-needed experience to a youthful backline, with Rob Iona's move to Major League Rugby club NOLA Gold confirmed earlier in the month. He will look to learn under Wallabies legend and incoming Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham, who believes Debreczeni will prove vital in their quest for the Super Rugby Pacific title.“It’s fantastic for us to be able to bring in a player of Jack’s experience," he added.“Jack’s been a professional for a long time, knows what’s required at this level and he’s keen to continue to develop and soak up everything the Brumbies have to offer.“Depth is critical in the modern game and Jack will be a great addition to the group.”This comes just a day after the club also confirmed the signing of former Shaun McKay Medalist and Connacht winger Ben O'Donnell.Click Here: Toni Kroos Jersey Sale
